Trail video's

Sunday, 17th January 2010

For Christmas this year I was lucky enough to receive a ContourHD headcam. This is a tiny hand held or helmet mounted video camera used to capture extreme sports images.

Whilst shuffling slowly along a bush track may not be considered as extreme or exciting as downhill mountain biking, base jumping, or snow boarding, it still has its unique moments about it. The purpose of buying the camera was to film as many of the different tracks and trails I run in and around Cairns, including any racing in foreign destinations.

The following link is my first attempt at filming a trail run. The location is McDonald Track to Wright's Lookout and back via Glacier Rock, leaving from Stoney Creek.

McDonald's Track, Glacier Rock Trail Run

I hope to broadcast a few different runs over the coming weeks.
